 Free health and social care course
 
Praxis Community Projects is currently recruiting candidates for their new Introduction to Health and Social Care course.

Praxis is a specialist charity working with refugees and new migrants in Tower Hamlets. Praxis was established 27 years ago and now delivers advice, training, employment support, interpreting services, health awareness and initiatives to help to strengthen and develop communities and individuals.

Praxis receives funding from London Borough of Tower Hamlets to deliver employability and ESOL projects.
The course is specifically aimed at refugees who either have a background in social care or have an interest in developing a career in that sector.

The ten week course starts on the 14 September. Candidates are invited to attend an open day on 23 August where the course will be presented.
The project will provide advice to help participants identify potential career routes while developing the skills needed for employment in the care sector.
Training will take place at Praxis, Pott street, London 2010.
