Disability Training and Employment Opportunities
In this project we provide a wide range of training and support for the people with learning disabilities according to their needs for those wishing take up employment and to become more independent. To do this we work with employers in London who are looking to fill vacancies for which our learnes are suitable. We try and negotiae the clients’ terms of contract to suit the need or our learners . Below are some of the areas out of many that we provied training/support:

basic skills training including:

Improving social skills
Confidence building
Cv ppreperation
Interview skillls
One to one career guidance

We assist on:
Work trail and work placemnt
Finding voluntery work to get the idea of real life employment Apasenth

To finding job i.e job search

Self employmment skills

Catering Sessions: With a trained cook we train to learners professional cooking and management skills to become self emplyed around catering field who wishes to be.

Real arts; with support from a qualified art teacher we tarin learners to produce own paint/art work to set up own art business

Hand made : we suport learns to learn creative skillsto create variety of hand made stuff as a self employment skills to become self emplyed for those who wishes to be.

We provide practical training required to enable transition into main stream work: Some of these are:

Health and Safety
Food and Hygiene
Independent life and tranvel skills
Literacy and Numeracy
Customer service

We providePost Employment Support:

We provide on going spport through our employment
support officer once lerners are placed in to a job,
work placement or become self employed.

We also provide on going advice and
guidance on work related benefits.
