Advice and Advocacy Services

APASENTH Advice and Advocacy Services offer free, independent and confidential advice and support services for people with disabilities and to the parents and careers of children with disabilities within Tower Hamlets. APASENTH Advice workers are committed to maximizing the income of our service users and offers advice on entitlement to appropriate benefits We are registered as Quality Mark standard.  We provides comprehensive and effective welfare rights services includes:

  • Advice on benefits
  • Form filling
  • Support on Housing/Rehousing
  • Initial assessment
  • Mobility/Motability Allowance
  • Home Visits
  • Utility bills

We are specialized in DLA, Attendance Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Incapacity benefits and other disability related benefits.

New clients need to contact us via telephone first where appointment will be for a visit to the centre and their details will be recorded on APASENTH’s advice systems. To ensure that the Advice and Advocacy service is accessible, as well as having drop-in-sessions and appointments at the Brady Centre itself, we also offer an outreach service. This provides home visits for people who are unable to come at the centre, for example people with mobility problems, the elderly or full-time carers.
